I´ve never noticed that before and checked it when my saved file appeared on my desktop as a. My selection showing at this line reads: mp3PRO(FhG)(*wav:*mp3)

You´ll see that its option number 14 down the list. Would anyone else perhaps have had this problem arise? Would someone who uses the same version of Au3 do me the immense favor of looking at that drop down file extension menu and just check on what it says at the Fraunhofer mp3 line. I have no idea how this can have happened - my Au3 folder resides on the C drive and the only thing that happens are the usual Microsoft updates - nothing drastic. Saving the file resulted as you would expect as a. I highlighted the Fraunhofer mp3 option and to my surprise saw *WAV mp3 as the codec - when surely it should read. This as all users will know opens a dialogue box where a range of codecs are available and in this instance I wished to save the file to the desktop as an mp3 320kbps. I then selected the whole file and clicked the 'save as' option.
